Carrie (Beth) Robertson, MD, is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Director of Headache Research at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She completed her Neurology residency at Mayo Clinic and holds dual fellowship training in both Headache Medicine and Peripheral Nerve Medicine/Pathology.
Dr. Robertson’s specializes in the treatment of painful cranial neuralgias and neuropathies. She is actively involved in several multidisciplinary clinics, including the Neuromodulation Clinic for Facial Pain and the Facial Reanimation Clinic, which specializes in dynamic restoration of facial symmetry.
Her research interests encompass atypical headache disorders, neuralgic pain management, surgical approaches to neuropathy, and unusual aura phenomena. She has a particular interest in visual snow and visual snow syndrome, and collaborates closely with specialists in Neuro-ophthalmology and Optometry to deliver comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to affected patients.
