Marielle Kabbouche Samaha, MD, FAAN, FAHS, Professor in Child Neurology and Headache Medicine, and the Director of the Headache Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC). My role involves clinical care, teaching, mentoring, and conducting clinical research within the Headache Center. I direct an extensive multidisciplinary headache program, managing both outpatient and inpatient clinical services, as well as overseeing multifunded research initiatives. I actively participate in numerous clinical trials, as a site PI, principal PI, sub-PI.
As well as leading the REACH study, which focuses on patients' and payors' engagement. I am dedicated to improving headache care outcomes and standardizing headache care as part of quality improvement efforts at CCHMC. Over the past 25 years, I have collaborated with multiple departments, including the Emergency Department, infusion center, and primary care providers, to standardize headache care in both acute settings and primary care offices ( Physicians Health Organization).
