Dr. Robbins earned his B.S. from Yale University and his M.D. from SUNY-Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his neurology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore, where he was also a chief resident, a headache fellow, and faculty member for a decade before his recruitment to Weill Cornell in 2018. He serves as the program director for the neurology residency, an associate professor of neurology, and the Louis and Rachel Rudin Foundation Education Scholar.
Dr. Robbins is currently the AHS President-Elect, chairs the education committee, and directs the national Resident Education Program. He is also the President-Elect of the New York State Neurological Society. He has served on the editorial boards of multiple neurology journals and has won national and local teaching awards as well as receiving the 2025 Seymour Solomon Lecture Award from AHS.
