Dr. Schim MD, FAHS, FAAN, attended medical school and neurology residency at UC San Diego. He is Board certified in Neurology, and certified in Headache Medicine by UCNS. He has been an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neuroscience, Voluntary, at UC San Diego.
He is senior neurologist at the Neurology Center of Southern California, and Director of the Headache Center of Southern California, He has been a clinical investigator in numerous clinical trials including headache, pain, movement disorders, stroke and spasticity, amongst others.
He is board member and past-President of the Headache Cooperative of the Pacific, Chairperson and Director, California Chapter, Alliance for Patient Access (AfPA), and has been Board Member and past President, American Heart Association, San Diego. When not seeing patients, he enjoys family, travel, surfing and photography.
