Amaal J. Starling, MD, FAHS

Dr. Starling is an Associate Professor of Neurology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She joined Mayo in 2012 and is currently a Consultant within the Department of Neurology. Dr. Starling received her M.D. degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine, and completed her Neurology Residency and Headache Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. She is the Program Director for the Headache Medicine Fellowship and the Program Director for the Transitional Year Residency. She currently serves on the AHS Board for Directors and as the chair of the AHS Advocacy Committee. Dr. Starling has received numerous awards including the AHS Above and Beyond Award for Service and the AAN Women Leading in Neurology.
