Andrea Murphy is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner who has dedicated her career to caring for patients with headache disorders since 2015. She played a pivotal role in establishing the first multidisciplinary academic headache center at Hartford HealthCare and now practices at the Headache Care Center, PLLC—a nurse practitioner-led specialty clinic in South Windsor, CT. Andrea earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Connecticut and holds an Added Qualification in Headache certification from the National Headache Foundation.
She also holds dual board certification as a Nurse Executive – Advanced through the ANCC, which has further strengthened her leadership, mentorship, and passion for teaching. Andrea serves as adjunct faculty in the Family Nurse Practitioner graduate program at the University of Saint Joseph and is a committee member of the APP Education Committee for the Association of Migraine Disorders.
