Laurel Short, DNP is a family nurse practitioner with Sunflower Medical in Roeland Park, Kansas. She earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Luther College and master’s of nursing degree from the University of Kansas. She completed her doctor of nursing degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City with an emphasis on self-management for chronic migraine. Self-management for chronic conditions has been a focus throughout her nursing career. Dr. Short is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Headache Medicine from the National Headache Foundation.
