Dr. Friedman is a solo practictioner at Yellow Rose Headache and Neuro-Ophthalmology in Dallas, Texas, She is a former Professor of Neurology and Ophthalmology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she was the founding director of the Headache and Facial Pain Program and Intracranial Pressure Disorders Program. She is Board Certified in Neurology and Headache Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, AHS, the American Neurological Association and the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society (NANOS). She served on the AHS Board of Directors, is the co-director of the Scottsdale Headache Symposium of AHS, is a Past-President of NANOS, the president elect of the Southern Headache Society and a Founding Member of the International Society for Spinal CSF Leak. She has published over 145 articles in peer-reviewed journals and 28 book chapters. Her key interests are intracranial pressure disorders, migraine and cluster headache.
