Dr. Mia Minen is Director of Headache Research and an Associate Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Population Health at NYU Langone Health. Her research focuses on improving migraine diagnosis and management across medical specialties. She has NIH funding, has 100 publications and served as Headache Section Co-Head for Pain Medicine and as an Associate Editor for the journal Headache. In addition, she co-authored migraine guidelines and served on the American Academy of Neurology Guidelines Sub-Committee. Dr. Minen previously served as the Overall Chair of the American Headache Society Special Interest Groups and served as Chair of various AHS Special Interest Sections.
