Patricia Arlene Olson, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Neurology in the Department of Neurology at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is a former headache fellow of the John R Graham Headache Center at Mass General Brigham and Harvard Medical School. While at the Graham Headache Center, she was awarded the American Academy of Neurology Clinical Research Training Scholarship in Migraine funded by the American Brain Foundation and Amgen, Inc. Her current research interests include studying CGRP treatment effects and understanding the neural networks involved in chronic pain states. Dr Olson has a passion for medical education and recently developed a headache medicine curriculum for medical students at her institution. She also greatly enjoys the opportunity to serve on the editorial board as an associate editor for the journal, Headache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain.
